Go to overclockers.com Check the index for beginners guides (primers), start reading. Then go to the o/cing tips and techniques link. Reread, research and rethink. Then go to work.

Thanks for the reply Upptown
although i do have another question that i cant seem to figure out. I have been reading and some sites say that you need to connect the L1 pins on the AMD Tbird then you can overclock? And some say you need to disconnect the L1 pins on the AMD tbird?
So i am not sure which one you have to do in order to ready your CPU to be overclocked.
Or do some Tbirds L1 pins come closed and you have to connect them in order to overclock?
Or do some Tbirds L1 Pins come opened and you have to close them in order to overclock?
Thanks

i have the Tbird 800 as well and from what i have heard you have to connect the L1 pins using a pencil...i haven't done it yet
but from what everything i have read about it..people do it that way and it works
hey guys
you need to conect the L1 bridges!!
and about the pencile trick ??
buy a conductive pen this will insure a complete conection the first time pencile dosent allways work and if it does it may come undone
