Hello everyone, I am new to all of this. I did some reading and research about over clocking the Duron chips. I am ready to over clock it what I have is a Duron 750 and A7v , chrome orb fan, and only 250 watts going to get a 300 watt soon. With what I already have is it okay to over clock it? What speed? I am aiming at 900mhz or 950mhz. I did the pencil trick already with a 5m lead. Do I need to change my Bios? I have the 1004 setup and a 1.02v A7v. Thanks for the help everyone.

you should be fine to overclock, the 250 watt PS may slow you down a little at higher speeds due to the higher power consumption of the chip, but it may not stop you. All you need to do is read the manual and set the multiplier, fsb and voltage manually and take the board out of jumperfree, if you have any questions on what the motherboard manual says feel free to email me.
