View Full Version : [SOLVED] k6-3 at 333 to 400 Mhz, can i do it? any tips?
gotta k6-3@333 on auction, i'd like to get it up to between 350 and 400 Mhz. my motherboard doesn't even have jumper settings listed for a k6-3@333. starts at 400. if i get a fat HSF on it with choice ventilation on the case will it work. i'm looking for a like experience or any advice on this matter. thanks folks

I dont know much about the K6-3's; But I can tell you that if you dont have any way to adjust the multiplier on your motherboard then you probably wont be able to jump all the way to 400 that easily. If you have the means of overclocking your FSB then go for it. You might get a performance gain of that.
