I have an MSI Geforce4 MX 440 Dual Head 8X (64 mb) card overclocked to 360/675 for months now, no problems, no artifacts, and a decent 3DMark2001 score of 9297. Thats Ti4200 territory.

that's very nice!!
but the bad thing about geforce 4 mx series is they don't have pixel shading and some other features that geforce 4 have..etc
the score you re getting is about the same stock score i got with my geforce 4 ti4200. But its still good tho!! nice work!
btw, who is the maker?? i might recommand them to my friend, he is looking for a system, not too decent, not too old either

Never had an MSI but I always hear good things about them ;)
MSI is teh win.
My opinions comes from one card that I just got, my Ti4200...it is very nice. MSI is a great manufacturer.
I've been extremely pleased with my MSI card too. Stock cooling goes a long way. My card o/c is in my sig if curious.

as some have said the bad thing about these cards is the lack of some directx features.but the ones it does support it will eat a gf3ti500 for lunch :D

Thats not the point. For what it is, its a very good result. Its not a Ti4200, its a MX 440, but it is performing very well for a 440.

Ya no kidding, I said it is great score for a 440. But the fact still ramains that it would gte swamped in 3D Mark 2k3. Kinda like my little card :)

id dont get swamped in 3dmark2k3!
it wont even run it last i checked. mabey one sequence is it if that.
i no longer use my mx440 it sits on my desk lonely.but it will run any games ive thrown at it.even 1024x768 long as aa is off.
they are decent cards. and when compared fps/fps to other cards it does well in what it supports.
