Ordered a new systema nd i was on a 600 dollar budget, I had alot of left over parts i am useing like DVD, Vid Card, Sound Card, Moniter. But here is what I ordered and I am wondering if it is going to work out enough that I will be able to get the Duron to 1GHZ, I mean i have other 1GHZ system and if i can't get 1GHZ out of this system i will just forget it. Ok here is the list!
Antec SX830 Cooling Case 300W 5Fans
Peltier Cooling System (The Cheap Model, forget)
Asus a7v Motherboard
AMD Duron 800mhz (Hope to make it to 1GHZ)
128MB of 133mhz Ram
40GB IBM hard drive
Generic Nic
Ok there is the guts, now does anyone i think i should make it to 1GHZ, safely, I am running Windows 2000. I have never really overclocked a Duron i did slot Athlons and Celerons but this is a first on Durons. Is there anything i should change in my order, i can't go any more expensive really! Please help! Thanks
