Thoughts on ADI 1980 6-channel CODEC On-Board Audio

I'm buying a board with a "ADI 1980 6-channel CODEC" on-board audio, and was wondering if the sound would be upto much with this chipset? would it compare to a sblive 5.1 card?

sb live should be much better, that codec didn't sound to enthusastic as to be a good one : /
