I just tried to do a volt mod on my gf3 and it seems to make my card perform worse! i can't run any 3d mark benches or i get artifacting and i will have to reboot. I have the card watercooled so heat is not the problem but what i want to know is how and where can i check to see if i am getting the correct voltage to my memory and core? I used to article from X-bit labs. Thanks.

I haven't seen the X-bit Labs volt mod article, but maybe this one will help you out:

Maximum OC GF3 Volt Mod (http://www.maximumoc.com/guides/gf3voltmod.html)

You prolly did nothing wrong, I modded my card and got FA from it as well. I just clipped the resistors off.

But how is this? There has to be a reason why it won't work. right?

Socket eh?

Yes, there is a reason. The chip is maxed. Unless you haven't lapped the core down to the copper.....

Yes i have already lapped the core.
