As an overclocking rookie, after reading all information I could find, I'm (almost) ready to attack my TBird 1 ghz.
Will pencil trick the L7 to 1.85 V, but I'm not sure on which level (1050,1100,1150,1200, 1250 Mhz see www6.tomshardware.com/cpu/00q3/000711/amd-04.html ) I'll set the L3, L4 and L6 settings. How far can I go to keep it working stable?
I'm using an MSI K7T Pro motherboard, which seems not the easiest one for overclocking.

dude your makeing it all way too hard

just connect the L1's ONLY

the set your multiplyer to what you want with your board and set the FSB with the board and the core voltage too

thanks! but the point is that I cannot change the multiplier frequency on my motherboard (MSI K7T Pro). Later versions of the K7T Pro do have this possibillity but this one not. That's why I was thinking about about increasing the multiplier settings on the CPU itself.
