I could be totally wrong here, but shouldn't you be able to get some sort of display on your monitor even if you don't have a CPU installed on the motherboard?
I'm trying to boot up my KT7-RAID mobo that has 128 PC133 ram in it and a GeForce2 GTS video card and i'm not getting any sort of display. My monitor says that there isn't any sort of connection between it and the video card or computer...
Now, does the CPU complete the motherboard's ground or complete the ground to the PCI/ISA slots?? The monitor obviously thinks it's not grounded. I thought maybe my video card was toasted, but I tried two other cards that I know work fine and I got the same result..
Please don't tell me my motherboard is toast. =(
Thanks for any help!
