yes, yes, I know "get permission", bla, bla... jsut assume I have permission.

now... I've done several searches, and they come up empty-handed...

is there a batch file I can use to quickly install the text-only client and have the -advmethods and -forceasm tags added, and to set it as a service, without administrator priveliges?

maybe I'm just being ignorant or something. :mad:

my goal is to be able to borg a comp in under 30 seconds. which means I would want to know how to use client.cfg in there, too, so I can skip that whole setup part...

Maybe this isn't exactly what you wanted, but there are guides out there on making batch files too if you do a search for those.

If i remember right SniperXX is makign a batch file for the service installer...didnt he make that too? Sorry if he didnt to the person who reallydid

Yup im here working on the batch installer. Making progress. So far it will install everything and start folding in ~10-15 sec, depending on the comp. I am still working on getting it to start all the time when wondows starts. The flag work witch is good. I got all the files included, but w. my batch file you can use it with your current borg disk or use mine.

My main rig is haveing some wierd TCP/IP probs and only AIM works after I installed SP1. :mad: I have setup SP1 b4, dont know why it wanted to pick my PC to mess with... So thats slowing me a bit trying to get it up for the lanparty Im going to sat...

So for now I am on my new 1600+ Wind 2k3 server/ dedicated folder! (Thanks for the proc deal Octoman!)

(as a side note, morons obsessed with Fantasy Baseball suck. Im on a school library comp now, and theres 3 of them, and they're being all loud and junk. :mad: if only you could hear them.)
