i have just bought it and want to try to overclock it my board is a va-503+ i have 128 megs of 100 ramdont want to fry my stuff so asking for anyonewho has done it to give me some info

what make and model of mobo is it u r using m8
and what cooler do u have on the cpu
also check out your e-mail man for info from my alter ego re. overclockin your amd

no name on the cooler but it is about 2 inches tall and covers the whole chip the fan bolts direcly to it i used heat transfer greeese when instaling

You'll have to increase voltage from 2.2v to 2.3v/2.4v.
Must have very good cooling (standart HS&F can't do the job). CPU fan must blow at last 26CFM.
Lapping the CPU and heatsink will help the heat transfer (both are concave).
Try 5.5x100 and if stable then 5x112 (be carefull with data corruption with FSB>100).
