I can't get more than 900mhz with my Duron. I tried 1GHz with 1.85core and 3.45 vio and my computers doesn't stopp beeping. I then have to clear my bios. Do you know a winning combination to get my Duron to 1Ghz. By the way i am using my retail Duron fan which turns at 5900rpm. Do i have to change my fan to get 1 GHz. Anyways i'm waiting for your answer. Thx in advance.

I've got the exact same board and processor..
I can get it to 900MHz (1,9Vcore & 3.45 VIO) but then windows won't start..
Try only closing the first 3 brides at L1!!!

Here is the results I have from testing the 2A.
Duron750 w/Chrome Orb
Highest stable speed - 850
Duron 750 w/Super Orb
Highest stable speed - 918
Duron 750 w/Alpha 6035 & Sanyo Denki Fan
Highest stable speed - 954
Duron 650 w/Super Orb is stable @ 900, beeps at 950 and just sits there at 1000
Duron 650 w/Alpha and Sanyo Denki posts at 950 and 1000 but locks up during Windoze boot.
I will be testing the Alpha with a YS Tech fan early next week.
My results so far seem to indicate that you aren't getting enough cooling. What HSF are you folks using?
In each case I started with vCore @ 1.85 and lowered it after I found the max speed.

The 750 beeps at 950 with all HSF setups. I may have hit the max clock multiplier for this chip.
