I'm putting together a system for my gf and am wondering if this board is good and stable for normal NON overclocking use. I'm on a very tight budget with this system.

Did you consider the latest Soltek boards, or possibly the Epox 8RDA? Both of those perform very well, are stable, and won't break your bank.

msi makes a great low cost non overclockers board, with a few oc features just for fun
