Hi Railskinner,

It appears you have a week 27 2000 cpu made at Fab 21. Its pretty close to mine except different plant but same week/year. Sooooo.....you oughta get 950 when you get the td2.

Ive heard of a beta 1008 bios for the K7v mobo which will allow for you to adjust the L2 cache divisor *down* when you OC it. Our stock chips are coming with a 2/5 divisor and this doesnt seem to OC well past 950. If you set it down to 1/3 then we can go higher if the mobo/cooling lets us.

The guy who runs Ninjamicros sent me the bios......Ive never flashed one....but if it works I will let you know.

Ok, for all of you who dont really know the true specs of your RAM, please download Sandra from somewhere like CNet. Run the Mainboard Info module and scroll down to the part about Logical Memory. It will tell you the exact specs of your ram as designed....even give you what speeds it will do CAS2 and 3.

Real nice program, I have to buy the full version!!
