did i fry o'clocked duron 650?

got the 650 going at 800 via pencil trick on ep-8kta+. temps at around 80 degs with thermal grease / TT orb. got to install win98 , added partition magic. then while rebooting the screen went black. wouldn't boot - actually wouldn't even post. took it apart - nothing. rubbed off pencil lead reset dipsw to auto - no joy, even reset cmos.

it didn't get that hot only 91 at highest 80 the last time i looked - did i fry it?

i had almost given up but on a hunch i hit the reset switch and that fixed it! it didn't have enough juice - but that sux hanging like that...
