Duron 750@900 can someone help me plz.

hello everyone,

I did it, I got my system to run at 900mhz with A7v and a 750 Duron. I didn't really have any problems yet my temp. is at 46 for the CPU and 33 for the mobo. is that fair? I am using a chrome orb fan with an extra fan on top is that okay? I also ran the Burnin test for 10min and had no problems, does that mean that my system is stable? I am new to all of this but it sure is fun. Thanks again for all the help. Is there a good way to test my system for stability?

Hmm, only ten minutes doesn't proove you are stable. I can run my 750@1000 for more with cheapo heatsink/18cfm fan, run burnin tests but it mess with registry when reboting. Try 3D games and stuff like that.

Seti@home is great for testing stability - go to http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu to read up about it. If the comp can survive 24hrs running Seti constantly, without crashing, then it's stable IMHO. Plus, you can join the overclockers.com seti team - just follow the link on the homepage.
