I have a T-bird 1000 O/Ced to just 1050. The temp at idle is around 30 celsius and after playing quake 2 for 30 minutes gets to 39 celsius. Is this as high as my temp will get? What can i run to get highest temp? I am using win fop 32 with artic compound. Thanks for the help I am kinda new to this and do not want to fry cpu.

I have a TBird 1000 (@ 1000, not O/C'd yet!) with a Global FOB 38 running at 38 degrees C max. I ran a CPU test program called Winbench 99 (ZDNet.com) which tortured my CPU in order to get the max temperature readings. How did you O/C'd your 1000 to 1050? Is it running stable?

Used a # 5 pencil to close L 1 on cpu. Used multiplier on bios at 10.5x100. Do not want to go higher until I am sure of temp. Thanks for the site.
