I downloaded the new ATA100 Drivers so i dont have to wait for the long Post when i boot the computer. The one that i download was from Promise website and it was 1.6 Build 32. And i also downloaded the Drivers 1.6 Build 25 fromt he asus website. Is there a difference between the too? Which one should i install? The 1.6 Build 32 or the 1.6 Build 25? I just dont really understand how to install it. Can someone help me please

Thanks.

the higher build number means newer <and better> id use them, what you have to do is extract them to a directory, go into start -> settings -> control panel -> system and under the tab that shows all your different hardware scroll down to SCSI controllers, pick the promise ATA 100 controller and hit properties, then go to the driver tab, pick update driver, and tell it to look in the directory you put the drivers in when you extracted them
