for vid pin query for voltage

all closing the l7 bridges does is send ground through all 5 vid pins to the motherboard to get more voltage to the processor the motherboard has to be modified like azzhole did, if anyone can help me with this on my soyo sy-k7vta I would appreciate it and would be a great advancement for all overclockers!!!!

When you close the L7 bridges up in sequence you trick the motherboard into thinking that the processor requires more voltage - it then supplies it as simple as that........ provided that the voltage generator and regulator of the m/b is capabale of supplying that voltage.

I do the same thing with a Celeron 2 to acheive a higher voltage than the 10% that my Soyo SY 7VCA can supply me - the motherboard can actually supply upto 2.3v - not that I'd ever even approcah it though.

I know that I'm speaking of the more than 1.85 volts that the processor tells the board to send

and the answer to your question is no that we know of

jeff is looking into this and trying to figure out if there is a way to do some kind of connection combos and such to see if it works but no luck so far

for about a week now
wonder if he is in the south
if so then the ice storm may still have him out

here in arkansas on christmas day we got hit by a ice storm and put out power for or 300000 homes

and texas and oklahoma and LA got hit too

they said it may be febuary before everyone is on

hope he wasnt one of the many

still todays count is 18,000 homes still out of power in arkansas alone and half of those have nothing....no power,phone,water,or gas because the main lines are down
