With my duron 700 i can only get stable @ 900 with 1,80 V and Asus a7v MB. Temp: 44C.
How can I reach 1ghz stable in Win98?
Please help me!

give us your system specs, but it is difficult to get past 965 with duron, as i have had two separate systems at 963 and 945, but not stable any higher......sorry.

It would help to know what cooling you've got - those are pretty cool temps (40C is about the coolest you can get with aircooling), but if you don't have any case fans then adding a couple would surely drop the temp a few degrees and possibly get you an extra few MHz. More likely than not voltage is the limiting factor here, just push it to 1.85V and see what you can get to. I bet with that little extra voltage and temps a bit cooler (they'll go up a degree or two when you raise the voltage) you could get 950 or thereabouts. After that try a burnin running seti@home for a few days or a week to coax it up to 1000. Keep trying, you can always go a bit faster!
