You definitely ought to see a few more 3dmarks than that - double check that your system performance is set to 'optimal' in the bios, otherwise you can only run in AGP 2x - also check that you are running in AGP 4x, and that you've enabled fast writes for your graphics card's memory (set AGP fast write to enabled). As you've got 256MB ram, set your graphics aperture to 128MB (half your system ram). Make sure you've installed the latest VIA 4in1 drivers, and that you choose to install the viagart driver in turbo mode. Get the latest drivers for your vid card from http://www.3dchipset.com , and lastly close all non-essential apps before running 3dmark. After all this you might get an extra few 3dmarks :-) If you've already done all this, I can't offer any more suggestions - that's a good card, it ought to do better than that.

yea none of the 1005x bios;'s will let you set it to optimal
you can set it ans save and exit
then go back to bios and its set back to normal
thats why im running 1004D bios
