please post if you got a 1700+ tbre-b with the info below, so every1 who has this / noob overclocker such as me can compare with something:
CPU Stepping: DLT3C JIUHB 0308XPMW
Memory: Corsair xms twinx pc3200 6-2-2-2
Speed of CPU: 200*11.5 / 2300mhz
CPU Voltage: 1.75v
CPU Temp: 52C full load
Board: NF7-S v2.0
Vdimm: unchanged 2.6v
Vdd: unchanged not sure
Notes: need water cooling!!! see sig for my ****ty air cooling!
notes: stable on prime95 and all other benchmark programs. would go higher but i only have air cooling, got up to 210x11.5 stable but temp went up to 60C, so i had to lower as i didnt wanna go above 50C load temp!
thanks alot guys, bye.

I just tried overclocking yesterday fo rthe first time and mine is stable as hell at stock voltage. I haven't tried to go any higher yet but I will in the next few days. I ran 3Dmark2001 and scored right around 11000. I'm thinking I can get that up a bit when I start messing around in the bios a little more.
My mushkin ram hasn't arrived yet, so im using one stick of pc2100 256mb kingston value ram. at stock voltages for everything, i can get 190fsb at 6-3-3-2.5 timings. and run prime95's torture test stable for hours. Can't wait to get my mushkin ram :)

The CPU,the GPU,the northbridge and the HDD are Coolance-watercooled
The CPu can bench at 26500 too,but under 1.85V....well,if considering that it`s default voltage is 1.5V i dont want to damage it..i cant find something like this now:p

I'll have everything in about a week. Can't wait to try my first overclock.

GOOD ADVISE ALDELPHIA :) NEVA BUY A GIGABYTE! God damn thing took me hella hassle overclocking it BUT IM HERE!
CPU Stepping: 0251 DUT3C JIUCB RPMW

Notes: NEVER BUY A GIGABYTE ;) WINBOND DDR ROCKS THIS WORLD! Can run it @ PC3200 no prob! Well, untill i flashed my bios today with update F10 :( Auto sets now *cries*
Good luck on all overclocks :)

Definately-- SAY NO TO GIGABYTE....
The specs for the board looked great upon first glance. It was new at the time, and did not have any reviews, so I figured what the hell... Soon I realized 130$ down the tube. Had to hard-code the CPU to a 166mhz fsb default, just in order to make it past 165fsb. Now under a heavy overclock, the system will not restart, unless it is powered down completely.
I would have saved myself hours of frustration if I would have just purchased the 8RDA, or similar. I put together a system for a friend with a Soltek Nforce2, and was so impressed that I bought one for myself.

Memory: 6-3-3-2 PC2100 cheapo RAM
Speed of CPU: 2325 MHz
CPU Voltage: 1.725V
CPU Temp: 42C Idle, 50C Load
Board: Gigabyte GA-7VAX 1.2
Vdimm: 2.6
CPU Stepping: DLT3C JIUHB 0308XPMW
Memory: Kingston HyperX DDR 3500
Speed of CPU: 201x15=3.006 ghz so far max.
CPU Voltage: 1.95v
CPU Temp: 12C.
Board: Epox 8RDA-Volt Modded.
Vdimm: 2.77
Vdd: 1.94 (fixed resistor)
Notes: 3 ghz is the highest I have gotten into windows with so far. I can get 201x15 for 3.030 but 2000 Pro doesn't handle it well. if I install Xp pro, it should get that speed just fine.
also it's 100% stable to 2.9 ghz, and I have benchmarked at almost any speed below 2.9 ghz.
but with the CPU still new in my Prometeia, I think if I leave it alone for a few days and allow the CPU to break in, and the artic silver to cure alittle more, it should be stable to alittle more.

Kunaak:
I know this is a thread for collecting data, I hope it is ok to post a question that may be interesting:
Since currently I don't have a low temp cooling system to try, what happened when you tried to increase the Vcore beyond the 1.95V reported, e.g. to around 2.0V or 2.05V or 2.1V?
Did you try more than one Tbred B 1700+ DLT3C, if so, what was the highest clock frequency and the corresponding Vcore you got from the "worst" one you tried?
absolutly nothing happens when I use more voltage, it doesn't respond at all, doesn't increase stability or anything else.
so 2 volts is about the max it needs for almost any speed I can do. more voltage doesn't make it any more stable or overclockable.
as for my XP 1700, this is the 3rd one I tried. I used 2 DUT3C's and this one DLt3C.
the DUT's both did about 2.6 ghz max.

Are the two DUT3C Tbred A or Tbred B?
the DUT's were both JIUHB's so I guess B's.

Don't count your chickens before they've hatched. I have the same chip you do, and a pretty good watercooling system and 2.4 seems to be the highest she'll do. I since designed the piping arrangement for more cooling and less restriction and i'll post back with results later today or tomorrow
