Audigy Platinum EX skips

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? When I'm playing music it skips sometimes. I heard that Creative's drivers aren't that good and I'm thinking that mabye the reason. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

My audigy 2 does that on dvd audio playbacks. I used ASUS's dvd player, and surprise, no skips and pops. There is new driver out but I haven't tried it since I upgraded the drivers. My Cd's don't seen to have a problem.
