My Duron 650@1000 is rock stable.
I unlocked it by closing all L1 bridges.
I've got pc133 mem,Asus a7pro mobo
I set fsb at 100and multi at 10x
volt at 1.85 and it works rock stable.Just need to by some more fans.

My friend had the same prob as you with the unlocking.He tried differant setttings and he succeded at last.
He had same mobo as you and locked ALL L1 brid.
and 1 L7 and 2 !L4!.This was weird i thought but it worked he choose the first L7 and the 2 middle L4
