Did it work before you tried to overclock?
I have been testing the 2A pretty hard for a few weeks. I'm interrested in how things work out for you

i can't OC.
i can whether boot up with 750 or i can't boot up cause of that ide error.
m-clock was set for 8X after i do the pencil thing.
even i set m-clock for default, i can't boot up 50%(IDE error) with L1 bridge closed.

Can you give me all of your components and tell me what color the LED's are when the boot cycle quits?
Have you done the pincil trick more than one time? If not try it again. I did it 3 times before i got it right....

Took me six attempts. I find it helps to run a craft knife blade between the pencil marks, even when they don't look like touching, to avoid cross-bridging.

I've put a post up in AMD mobos about the failed volt mod Azz - I figure it might be good for anyone else considering the mod to read (don't wanna put them off too much though just cos I can't solder ;-) ). I've got icq, see the flower <====

Ok, I think we can rule out the L1's as the problem. Have you installed all the drivers that came with your mobo? Like the VIA 4 in1's etc.? Check in device manager to see whether there's anything wrong with your IDE controller.

What HD do you have? Is the HD cable plugged into the blue socket on the MB?
