I can not decide which to get please help. I'm looking at a 950MHz TBird or an 850MHz Duron Please help me choose

Depends what you're after - the tbird will give better performance even at the same speed as the duron, due to its larger cache size, but the duron will oc better. If you can afford it and you want the performance, go with the tbird. The tbird will probably get to 1050-1100, but the duron will also get to 1000-1050, quite possibly even higher with good cooling. Seeing as the only real reason to get the duron is to save a bit of cash and get a bigger overclock, if you wanted one it would probably be better to get a slower duron, like the 750 or 800. That ought to still do a gig.

i seen on the forum that a guy in japan oc'ed his 1.2ghz tbird to 1728mhz how did he do this? its liquid nitrogen cooled of course. i have a good deal of money to spend and would like to get the most of it. I know all about the cache and what it intales so which is better for the cash.???

Well if you can afford it go for the tbird - it'll still oc well and outperform anything else (except a faster tbird of course ;-) ).
