I am running win2k on a 800mhz T'bird AT7-R mb combo and I am getting some really poor 3dmark scores :( My average score is 2200, considering I have 128 ram and a Geforce 2 gts thats a really bad score. I have tried the optimal setting in the bios and they seem to make no difference other that make the system unstable :(

Suggestions pls...

Further info, i have a single IBM deskstar connected to the raid connectors to get ATA100. A fresh installation of win2k was used. My chip is not over clocked and voltage setting are chip default. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Even the down rite obvious things!

General answer to this question:
Get the latest official VIA 4in1 drivers from VIA's website. And install them.
http://www.cyrix.com/drivers/index.htm

Then goto Nvida's web and get latest drivers for your vid card. See what happens!

http://www.nvidia.com/products.nsf/htmlmedia/detonator3.html

Ps Win2K and 3dmark is not a marrage made in heaven.

he might need a bios update to help clear up the stabllity problems

you should be able to run optimal
if you cant then your not going to perform verywell at all

thanks guys I'll try and d/l them drivers.

Oh i forgot to mention in my first post that 3dmark2000 seems to think my Geforce2 can handle the 64mb texture test, even tho i only have a 32mb card. Is this strange? And does anyone else know why it might think that. (I get 0 fps tho, and my hd goes crazy :D )
