i still cant get 1100 mhz
used the window defroster repair kit to redo my L1's and i was able to get the 10 multiplyer finally
running now @ 109x 10 = 1090mhz
i set it to 11x 100 no go
10.5 x 105 = 1100mhz and no go
no matter if i stick 2.2volts on it or not
running 1090mhz @ 2.14 volts
maybe water cooling will let me get there who knows
maybe the new boards will take me further who knows
or just burn somemore

How long have you been burning it for Azz? And what chip is it - I've forgotten, duron 600?. I doubt watercooling would give you much lower temps than you've got already, as my setup seems to be performing about as well as your aircooling. Once I get the volt mod done successfully I'm hoping the temps won't go up much more - maybe the watercooling has a lot of redundant heat capacity, who knows? I should be able to post in a few days about watercooling high voltages... hopefully ;-)
Ah, just saw in another post - an 850 tbird. Nice :-)

thanx
im thinking of getting tom leufkin water cooling kit but looking for a solid copper block though
going to run 2 radiators
there 12x5x 3/4
with 4 120 mm fans
then a small radiator/resavor/pump/copper block set up for my vid and chipset
going to run from the pump to the northbride block then over to my video block then through the radiator then blac to the resavor
going to have a 200 watt peltier on the T Bird
hoping for 1250+mhz out of this 850
also thinking of a peltier (like a 56 watter) on the northbridge
im getting the KT7A-Raid board first
then collect all my water cooling stuff
maybe about the middle of march i will have it all together
then work to get a new CPU after all that
GOING EXTREEM BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, a pelt on the northbridge - I haven't heard of that yet, pretty extreme! How bout one on the clock generator while you're at it, imagine that - a KT133a board with pelt-cooled northbridge and clock gen - 150 fsb, here we come :-) A 200W peltier for the cpu would also be a cool idea - I know people haven't had a lot of success with 118W pelts, but we gotta start seeing improvements at some point, right? That's gonna be one monster of a watercooled machine - hope you do a write up for oc.com when it all comes together. Check out the link for a similar beast ;-) Go for it!

I was thinking instead of all that watercooling stuff, why not get a watertight case to fit the mobo in flood the mobo with some kind of below zero no freezing liquid and put the whole thing into a small freezer should be quite COOL?
