Automatic Image converter

Does anyone know of a program that I can tell to convert say X number of bitmaps into jpgs or gifs and press go and have it do it all automatically. I have a bunch of screen captures from movies, but all of them are stupid bitmaps, and it would be nice if I didn't have to do 50 or 75 that I take from a movie and convert them manually.

I personally do not know of any cheap or freeware that will do what you ask. I am a long time user of Paint Shop Pro which will do batch conversions. You may wait to see what others say unless you want to download the huge 30 day demo version.

it actually worsk for more than 30 days, i think it works for 60 or 90 days

I have Paint Shop Pro, running it now(I had no clue this existed, do now). Thanks guys.
