Board for athlon 850 w/ sound & vid onboard?

I'm looking for a motherboard for a friend to replace in his computer and will be the happy home to an athlon 850. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. He will not be overclocking and his most demanding tasks are email and browsing.

that a slot-A chip?

i don't know, i haven't got a chance to look at it, its sitting in my car right now. I'll give more detailed specs tonight.

it can be Socket A too. i had a tbird 850 socket A.

but of coz, if yo are just looking for a cheap solution, go with the nforce1 solution: a7n266-vm

it's very dependent on the chip, athlon 850 could be in several diff flavors, as Deliximus said, possibly an 850 socket a t-bird, or a slot-a t-bird, or even a slot-a classic. the classics will run ok with via or other chipsets, the slot-a t-bird requires amd's irongate chipset. let us know what type of chip it is, if it's a slot and you'll post the codes of the top edge of the casing i can tell you if it's a bird or a classic.
