i am about to upgrade from my celeron 600 @ 901 to a Tbird 1Ghz. i will also be using a Matsonic M8127C mobo but this will be temporary. the question is which board should i replace this with? I have had great experiences with the Abit lines of boards with overclocking and know that Asus are excellent boards as well. i was thinking of the Asus A7V but wanted a few other opinions on the matter. so any suggestion?

ABIT KT7A-Raid
or a A7V133
there new and will be on the shelves anyday
I agree, use the new ones, they have a new chipset, the kt133a (versus the kt133), not sure how much is changed, it seems it's just the chip thus you can run at a higher fsb mainly.. For the a7v/kt7-raid, the a7v uses a riser to get more of those caps outta the way and larger heatsinks will fit without any probs.. Though, most decent heatsinks will fit on either, one example is the chrome orb which sucks anyway and doesn't matter.. The a7v has a promise ata100 controller built in, I was dissapointed with my hpt366 controller on my old abit bp6, personally.. Though the kt7 does seem to be the more loved board around here, it has active cooling on the mobo chipset, raid, and such.. But, you can't go wrong with either really.
