ok i have found some 32 cfm 25 db case fans (80mm)

but im looking for something to cool my slk-800U

it needs to be less than 28 db...

either 80, or 92 mm

also im looking to take out my sparkle fan and put in a quieter 80mm fan (what kind of cfm do i need here)?

pcpowercooling's fan pushes 27cfm at 20db... even when i put my ear to the fan i can barely hear it, cept it pushes a really realy measly amount of air.

27cfm is not that "measly" :)

if 27cfm isn't measly, then pcpowercooling probably waaaaaay overrated this fan... cause it barely pushes air. i have to hold my hand at least 2 inches away to feel air moving

yep. i can vouch for those titans. i have the 120mm version it it pushs an ausome amount of air for the noise it makes.im thinking about using the 80mm version on my slk800 aswell, actually:)

also, if its too loud, you could alsways do a 7volt mod on it

i got another question, where can i find more of a selection of those titans?

i didnt see any at newegg over the past few days and pcmods didnt have 92 or 120 mm

also how loud is ~26db in comparison to something else

I use an Enermax adjustable 80mm on mine.
Available here: http://www.directron.com/uc8fab.html

More here:

They have 92mm and 120mm versions, too and I recommend them highly.

Actually, I am looking for a 120 mm fan for the case front around or under 30 dBA. Any link including where to buy.

The 120 Enermax specs say 35 db minimum, but subjectively it's real quiet even cranked halfway up. I have one on the top of my Lian-Li 65 and it's really quiet. The 80mm fans are the trouble makers..........

If you want really quiet fans, look at the vantec stealth series. The 80mm is rated at something like 21 db. They use a dual ball bearing system to stay quieter, and run at something like 2000 rpm, so airflow is pretty decent. Look at them here: http://vantecusa.com/stealth_fan.html

From my experience, Pabst and Panaflo fans have always been the quietest for their rated CFM. They have a 12 dB / 19 CFM fan here: http://www.siliconacoustics.com/pabst84122ngl.html (this is the quietest 80mm i have seen, and a 19 dB / 26 CFM fan here: http://www.siliconacoustics.com/papst8412n2gml.html . At the highest end of your noise limit, I woud go for the Panaflo Medium rating fan.

Hey does that 800U attach to the mobo by the clamp or screws?

In a 92mm fan, you'll not find a much better CFM rating under 28dBA, nor will you find a much better price. These run around $10.00

The Evercool Aluminum fan is what you are looking for. These have the same ratings as the Titan Al. fans do, and are available at Directron, :)
