Reason Im asking is that none of the programs Ive downloaded will allow me to adjust the L2 cache divisor on my classic 750 down to 1/3. Thats why Im stuck at 950!!

Cant I just cut the two connections I dont need and pencil over the two I do? Is there any difference to doing this than with your Sckt A chips??

Mobo is a Gigabyte Ga-7ix F4a if you know how to get any sort of FSB adjusts on it or L2 caches *please* let me know!!

Thanks in advance

NO NEEEEED!

There's no need to do anything that drastic, get one of the them so-called Gold Finger Devices

If you've already got one, get a better one, which allows Voltage adjustment, and sell your old one on ebay.

PS there were T-birds available on Slot A ( A very, very long time ago...) when they first came out.

I have heard mention of a pencil trick for the cache on slot A chips - don't know any more about it at the moment, but I'll keep looking ;-)
