Hello

I looked at how do do the Vcore mod to the Asus A7V and it says to use a 24Kohm 1/4 watt Resister. I was just wondering if you can do it with a 22Kohm 1/4 or 1/2 resister?

Thanks

Azzkicker,

If i do the Mod to my asus A7V the Tbirds lowest Vcor is at 1.70. After the Mod the 1.70 will really be at 2.11vcore because of the mod. Say i dont want 2.11 vcore, i want to set it to 1.95 then i would go into bios and set vcore to 1.55 that is the eqivalent to 1.95 after the Motherboard Mod? Now will the Tbird still boot because its bios is at 1.55 but since the mod was done its really at 1.95?

Thanks for your advice

Azzkicker,

Yes my tbird 800 will boot at 1.55 vcore? Which is equivalent to 1.95 after the mod?

Thanks

I also forgot to ask something else. On the bottom of my new heatsink its iron colored. and the top of the CPU Core Should i put alittle Thermal paste there?? Will it make my temp go down?

Does Thermal Past dry and make a mess on top of your CPUS core? or it always stays moist enough to wipe off at a later date?

Thanks
