no, the e-mail address had (at) instead of @ because there are spam bots that search websites for *username*@*subdomain*.***, if you change the format of your e-mail address to where a human can decipher it but a bot cannot. Then you have a slightly lesser chance of getting spammed. Thats just a general precaution some people use when it comes to posting their e-mail address.
