i tried the pencial trick, but no luck. i have to get up the guts to take the hs/f off agan. it wont even poast at 866 (119x7) and anything higher than 800 the BIOS lock's up! random lockup's above 782 (7x112 (110 everything, +2 privet cpu buss) pleez help!
ps:anything above 700 q3 is all graphly screwed up. no amount of voltage seams to help, im currlenty at 1.75v alouth the bios "system health" section says1.801v

From what you've said, it sounds like yo're trying to clock via the FSB only. Try setting the FSB to 100 and changing the CPU clock multiplier.

112MHz fsb is pretty damn high for a KT133 board, like the KT7-RAID. You will not get any higher, whatever you do, without changing the multiplier. Sharpen the pencil really carefully, to get a very fine point, and run it over the bridges a few times to get a good covering of graphite. Then run the blade of a craft knife between the pencil marks to ensure no cross-bridging - I tried 5 times to get it to work, and on the sixth I used the knife, and it worked! Just keep trying, don't let AMD beat you ;-)

i just tried the pencial trick agan to no avail. i am now running at 791 (107+5=112, but the cpu think's it's 113)

I would use a lead pencil with a 0.5mm lead , I have used my to do 4 chips and it worked on the first try . I got mine from walmart it is a Zebra pencil 0.5 mm 2/99 cents. I tryed a regular #2 pencil (yellow) and it would'nt work at all for !
