nForce 2.41 WHQL drivers - FYI

For those who have seen these drivers available, a thread was started here with some information about the problems created by the new IDE driver version.

Installed and working well on my board.

so called 2.41 is bad bad bad bad

i was forced to reformat and re-install windows
1. i downloaded the driver pack from a link in this forum
2. installed
3. upon boot up, hard drive light was still active when all my
icons in lower right were all there....then it went for a
reboot on it's own
4. i get a blue screen that is scrolling through all sorts of stuff that
looks like a listing of my restore points and saying it is not a
valid whatchamacallit and it will be truncated
5. i couldn't get into regular windows at all,it wanted to keep
rebooting everytime it seemed to load up
6. went into safe mode and tried restore....there were no restore
points
7. only option was to reformat
