T-Bird SLOT & Abit KA7

I have a T-Bird 700 (SLOT A) and an Abit KA7 mobo. I can only get to 850.
I am using PC150 Ram and have an Abit GF2 MX. It doesn't matter wether I use a GFD or increase bus speed. 850 is it. Anybody know how to get the T-bird to work w/ the Abit KA7?

Hi, I also run slot A thunderbirds .I,ve had my 700
up to 875 . I use a asua k7v-t 8.5x103 at9.5v. I also
have a 850 tb. It seems to me that its the heat that
gets to mine. maybe its the same for you.

it looks like to me, that you need to get a golden fingers device to unlock that slot a thunderchicken .............if ya can find one

Why does he still need teh Gold finger. I thouhgt you just connect the dots on that CPU? Am I totally off?
