sound issues

i finallly got windows me to install and everything works fine except for my soundblaster live, i have the abit kt7raid. i tried making irq5 legacy isa but still no luck. with the card in my machine freezes after about 7 seconds after windows is done loading

out your sound card in PCI slot 3
set to auto detect

nic in slot 4

anything else put in slot 1 and 2

dont use 5 and 6

Still no luck..
systems boots fine with the sb live out of it..
and with it in it freezes right after windows is finished loading up..this is the 2nd full system i have built, first one no probs whatso ever and still running good.. this new one though.. about to put me in a padded room

maybe the sound card is bad

There is a known issue with the KT7 and the SB live!. One of the KT7 FAQ's has a good discussion on the matter. Do a google search for KT7 and FAQ, and you should find more info on the matter.
