Purpe ice: Does it prevent corrosion?

According to this (http://www.wc101.com/reviews/Additives/) article Purple ice doesn't prevent corrosion. I am a bit worried because I am currently using purple ice in my system. Any experiences?

WOW, I am currently using anit-freeze/distilled water mix and was leaning toward the purple ICE as a better alternative because I had heard of many people using it and also cause I can get it localy at NAPA, but now I may reconsider. I am also interested in hearing of anyones experiences with this stuff!
