Duron 650 or 700?

I am building my dad a better puter than he has.... for overclockability, would you go Duron 650 or 700? I have decided on duron for sure... and which MB?

This is just my own opinion... but i feel most every chip you buy will be the same... its all luck of the draw from what I can tell. A 650 SHOULD get you as far as a 600 or a 700 they are all "Cast from the same mold" if you will. No mater what you buy if its New you will have to "unlock" it no mater what anyway. I own a Epox EP-8KTA2 and once unlocked it runs great. Playing Quake 3 with it at 900Mhz just a second ago. I still have the FSB set to 100Mhz also. Read my other post for some info about my adventure on getting it that far. it had its kinks but doing great now. :)

depending on temp .... buy the best cpu you can afford ... around here there is only a $7.00 difference between the 650 and the 700 .... go with the 700
