i have just recently o/c my tbird 1.0 i moved the fsb 140/30somthing and that put my cpu 1.05 now i will be surfing the internet or working on my comp and it will restart all by itself for no reason poof! restarts also i tried to fsb at 143 and i got the BSOD!(blue screen of death) it told me somthing like dumping memory or somthing like that why!

well, if it randomly restarts, it might be your power supply, my comp did that to me a while back

One thing I can think of is that either your CPU, or most likely memory can't handle the speed and thus giving up, so basically you just got an unstable O/C

yeah, the random restart is a sign of instability

As said RAM or PSU are likely culprits

I have a antec truepower 430 and I get random restarts well have once with this truepower....and that was after my temps climbed to near 52celcius....so I dunno if random restart is psu but for sure instability :D

when i had it running my cpu temp was at 36 deg celius
im running ddr pc2100 256 mb ram power supply is either 300 or 350 w

i have set the cpu back to the stock speed
The restarts should stop now.

well now that I pushed my ram to 220(2700 ddr ram) I am getting random restarts all the time....definetly the ram so I suppose it is the smae for YOU :D
uhh, you had pc2700 at 220 fsb? wow :o

yeah it booted and I even have screenies!..this is with the 1.2 bios not even the beta 1.4 from abit :D.....my dram voltage is high as heck I am sure though lol I set it to max! 2.9 which supossedly overvolts to around 3.XX forgot exact:D

since i set the cpu to stock speed the radon reboots have stopped but i wanted to o/c the cpu so bad
