help installing radeon 9700pro

i boot up and screen is all blury and stuff whats goign on... how do i update the agp driver for neforce 2 board i got abit nf-s v2.0 help plzzz

provide more information please. has it ever been running correctly? has it just been installed? have you checked the board and cables?

i got abit nforce 2 nf7-s v2.0 512 ocsystem ram, 80 gb 400 watt generic brand psu..... andd alll fuzzy and stuff whats going on

if you're getting artifacts or corruption during boot screens there may be something wrong with the card, try removing it and reseating it. be sure it's fully seated into the agp slot.

ya, thats what someone else told me too that i should return to bestbuy and get exhange for another,,,, perhaps if anotherone should not work should i exchange again ?

I had a similar thing happen to me when a cooler I had on my chipset fell on my graphics card. You might want to check and make sure some piece of metal isn't sitting in a weird spot on the card.

ya imma return it frist thing tomorrow and exchange it maybe ill just drop my rigg by them let them hook up while i browse around =*(

Did you remove all the old stuff, CARD, Drivers Programs etc... I had a prob with mine by not getting ALL the old crap out. Also if there is dirt, oil (from hands) there will be some eye party effects on your post screen and bios page. hehehe I promise I will clean my room!!
