Voltge questions?

How do you get the voltage higher than 1.80/1.85on a Asus A7pro board.
I can get my Duron 650 to 1169 with 1.85 but not any higher. I've tried all combos but no

If I'm right the A7Pro is just an A7v without the Promise ATA100 controller - so the maximum voltage is 1.85V without doing the volt mod (check out http://www4.tomshardware.com/howto/00q3/000928/index.html for the nitty-gritty). It's tough and tricky, but possible - I did it with no previous soldering experience, but I was damn lucky not to fry my board while doing it, so you might want to pay a qualified electronics engineer to do it for you. You'll need great cooling to deal with 2V+, but I'm guessing you've got that solved :-)

Man, 1169mhz with 1.85, it's a really good Duron do you have! I would be happy and leave it this way, but looks like you still have some room to o/c, so go for the mod and reach 1200+ :)

Not the Mod yet but burst 1200 so close you can come 1199!!!
I'll do the mod when i've got everything bought
then 1200 will be mine
