I have a Duron 700 and an EPOX EP-8KTA2. It goes effortlessly up to 800mhz but past that point it becomes unpredictable and unstable. heat isnt it. PS isnt it. (Feel free to differ with me.) is apears as though my GeForce2 itself locks up or locks up the system. You see out of a game when it locks up the cursor still functions and if i click on stuff i hear the noise but nothing ever moves or changes. Its like some one took a screen shot of my desktop and overlayed it ontop of everything but my cursor. In game however my system totaly locks up and the sound is like a skipping record and im forced to reset. Could this be a power issue with the mobo or something else? ive experimented with it in many ways but no real answers. this only happens when i manually set the voltage, which is nessasary to do to get it past 800Mhz. the auto detected voltage is 1.65v Can anyone point me in the right direction?
