Klipsch problems

i just got the klipsch 4.1's and they are great sounding speakers the only problem is the input jacks get really dirty really fast and then the speaker starts to crackle. i wen tot radioshack cause i thoguht it might be a wire problem but the guy at radioshack said that the speaker jacks were gettign so hot that they were collecting dust so he said i need ot take some alcohol and clean out (polish) the inside of the jack, so i did this and the problemn was solved and they soudned really good but about three hours later the crackling came back so i tried cleanign it again and once again the sound went away.

now i really dont liek cleaning them every coupla hours, so does anyone have any suggestions on better cleaning techniques or things i shoudl do
