Hello

I had a question about how to overclock the ram. I have 1 128mb pc 133 ram. I have a asus A7V motherboard. When you go into bios then go into bios advanced, chip config, then do you go to SDram config. then to user define? do you just put it on 8ns(125) or 7ns(143)? Is that how you overclock your mem?? If not can someone please expalin the right way of doing it? And does it have any kind of effect on your memory?

Thanks

PC 133 Means that the ram is rated for 133mhz off the FSB (front side bus) If you increase the FSB slowly it will increase the possessor speed and the memory speed over clocking it. do this in small steps and run some demanding benchmarks to test the stability of the system after each increase! Also the 8ns and 10ns settings control the response time from the ram to the possessor, the lower the # the better but generic ram usually wont be stable under 10ns
