Ok, most people here are going to tell you to buy your parts seprately. I believe that kits can be both good and bad, but when you don't use a kit the chances of messing something up increases unless you are buying parts made specifically for PC watercooling because if you don't then there will be modification that needs to be done and when you start talking modification things start to go down hill as the ammount of work needed to put the system together increases... I should know, I am trying to put something together myself for 100 and under and am not doing too well so far (As far as moral) but I am still under $100, but anyway look towards these kits I recomend, but others may not:

Thermaltake A1604 Aquarius II Liquid Cooling System

Repackaged (not refurbished) SenFu Watercooling Kit

CpuFX Intercooler Complete Liquid Cooling Kit

I hope these helped

ssgohan434, read, read, read, Epox has been running loose in these forums with not much to say, other than give advice on a subject he knows very little.

If you have the skills and tools to build a system by all means piece a system together. First you will experience the art of building the system the way you want it. Next there will be a good chance you will have a system that will out perform any ready made system.

Those system mentioned above by Epox are ALL junk, did I say JUNK? yep....

More like complete crap that I wouldn't let even a 10' pole touch. You'll be lucky to get those kits to perform as well as mid-level air cooling.

Read around the forums, and look at what goes into some of the better custom setups. $150 is enough for a pretty nice custom system. :)

will someone go to this website http://www.cooltechnica.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=AWKCC&Category_Code=WCK and tell me what Fill & Bleed / Reservoir is??? and also which one is a good one from the selection??? also these seem like good kits, are they?

The cooltechnica is not a bad start, but you can do better. Remember if they can offer it for $152.00 their still making money. Plus the system does not have a shroud, fan and the core is not the best. I figured a little high on the pump as this would allow for many choices. Plus shipping and your still below $150.00 and have an outstanding first time rig that down the road can add another fan to it.

You can buy a Chevy Chevette core for $23.00 at AutoZone.

Block from Dtek $49.00

Pump for $45.00

Build a shroud from a tupperware dish $4.00

PanaFlo 120mm fan $12.00

Tubing $8.00

There are reviews of many of the kits in the watercooling section of the main site. The other articles are very good and you should plow through as much as you can.

A few hours scanning down the forum, reading the threads marked newbie(or similiar) or kit or the name of a kit (koolance, exos, innovatek, swiftec, etc), or what's good would get you a lot of info.

General consensus is that you can save money and/or improve performance by putting together your own kit. The hardest part of doing it yourself seems to be mounting the radiator (heater core)/fan.
