Gold finger device

Hi I have the goldfinger device.

My question is this>When i look into my case there is only a half inch or les betwen my power supply and my processor.

So it appears to me that the gold finger device will make my procesor too tall.Also to change the dip switches I think it will require removal of my power supply for every adjustment if in fact it will fit at all does this seem correct to anyone

just curious what gfd do you have and where did you get it?
i have a maximizer and i havent seen them offered lately and was looking to maybe buy another
