Has anyone done any BIOS testing on 9500 cards around the area of syncing the video core and mem speeds ? Im wondering if editing the BIOS for my card to sync the highest stable OC makes more sense than going for the fastest core and mem speeds seperately. Has anyone tried this to see what gives the best results ?
I had great luck with my Radeon8500LE by flashing the BIOS to a sync'd 275/275 from the stock 250/250 without any other mods. The performance sync'd at 275/275 was much better than highest core and mem seperately which was 275/290.
I have a new Sapphire 9500np 128 in the L memory configuration that's completely stock at this point. I have a Zalman fanless heatpipe cooler coming and want to max out the cards stable performance.
